my writing desk
Though it’s a sham; I write in bed. So my lovely desk becomes a strand to beachcomb for flotsam thoughts, jettisoned rough drafts, passages, ideas, a strand of thought left for another day as I happen to walk by. It’s more like quicksand; everything finds its way here and gets buried deeper and deeper.
